this morning i was listening to my favorite radio station, 104.1 krbe and there was this woman who was a guest on the morning show...i can't remember her name but her daughter's name was Ashton Glover. Ashton was murdered in 2006b at the age of 16, by two guys she knew, Sean Brown and Matthew McCombs (MM is the one who pulled the trigger)....all because they wanted to know what it would feel like to kill someone. matthew has been in jail for the past year..sean just went in march of this year and will already be up for parole in january 2009...the only reason ashton's mother knows about this, is thru her daughter's friend's myspace....this poor woman does not even get to honor her daughter's memory by celebrating the person she was, instead she has to fight to keep her daughter's murderers (they shot her, went to breakfast and then buried her) in prison. they're (ashton's family and the radio station) asking for people send send in protest letters/emails to the following: INFO FROM THE ROULA & RYAN SHOW ON 12/12/08:
Sean Brown will not be eligible for parole until January 2009. He is now in the prison in Jasper, TX. Please consider writing a protest letter now, since the victim's family will not know where they will be in 2009.
